Shortcuts on Taskbar Not Sticking
Before the recent W10 update, I had Firefox and Thunderbird pinned to my taskbar. Now, every reboot I have to add them back on.
Any thoughts why they keep disappearing and how to make them stick again? |

You might try sticking them again, then right click on a bare spot of the desktop and select Refresh and see what happens.
If they disappear again, I would open an elevated command prompt (as administrator) and enter: sfc /scannowThen see if they hold (note the space after sfc). |

Did not work. Scanned and it just fixed things in a store. I reboot and they are gone again. The ones I am trying to re-pin are Firefox and Thunderbird. Now, I seem I can pin VLC and a game, but not the Mozilla programs. But I still have one program, MultiCommander, that has not disappeared since day one.

I don't know why you are having this problem. I have Firefox pinned on my PC and my notebook and they stay stuck. And Tbird is also on my notebook.
It seems some people with this problem resolved it by rebuilding the icon cache. |

I am still having this issue. So nuts.
Only those two programs at the moment will not stay pinned. Oh software..... |
