Installed Wacom Driver on 10 Now Things Refuse to Open and Comp Running Sluggish

Over the past week and a half I have been having a series of problems with my operating system that started after I downloaded a wacom driver for my new drawing tablet. These problems include photoshop cs2 crashing while starting up, updates on existing drivers being stopped halfway through downloads, task manager not opening, my desktop freezing, two black screens, windows defender not opening, not being able to uninstall programs ect.

I tried running malwarebytes and that was also blocked (chameleon was blocked as well). I went back and removed the wacom driver. After that malwarebytes was able to run again and the other problems I was having seemed to go away.

The problem is I need my tablet for work.

I have had my old wacom tablet for five years with no issue. So I double checked that I had downloaded the correct driver from the site. I know wacom tablets have issues if you dont fully remove the old drivers and thought that I may have missed something when unistalling them.

All of my problems came back. I can no longer use task manager, things freeze when they update, photoshop crashes, ect. It took me hours to get the driver unistalled with everything going back to freezing up on installs and uninstalls. Even with it gone my problems still remain and I am completely stumped. Wacom is a good brand and the tablet I have has high reviews with nobody that I can see lowering their ratings because of driver issues.
I have had no issues with my computer up until I got my new tablet.

Any help is appreciated!

Computer Specs: AMD 8350, R9 290, 8gb ram, asus m5a97 r2.0

Tablet Model : Wacom Intuos Creative Pen and Medium Touch Tablet CTH680

Welcome to CTH

I assume your getting the driver from this page:

http://www.wacom.com/en-us/support/p...5C09F25100626B

Have you by chance contacted Wacom support as ask if that driver is compat with Windows 10, as it only says Windows???

Thanks for the reply. I got the driver here: http://www.wacom.com/en-us/support/p...upport/drivers

If you look down at Drivers for Intuos it says the intuos pen and touch medium is compatible with windows 10.
I haven't contacted Wacom support yet. I did just post on one of their forums asking for help as well.

Found another weird thing when checking my backup and restore. The wacom icon is on there and then it froze up just that window. Here is an image: https://i.gyazo.com/6423967d162f050f...d71d7d3247.png

WIED that driver is playing HAVAC with your puter, for some reason Win 10 does not like it.

The link you used says:

Latest drivers for current Cintiq Companion products

Is that what you have?????

The link I gave is:

Driver for Tablet PC...Isn't that the one you need????

You really need to contact Wacom because it appears it is the driver causing the problem.
