Games Crashing
Hi
I am having a problem with running games on my computer. I have the Sims: Unleashed and whenever I try to play it and click on the shortcut, the screen goes black as if its starting, but stays black. Nothing happens, I can't hit control-alt-delete or anything. I dont know if this is crashing, because I dont get thrown to the desktop or anything, I have to reboot. There are other games that my brother has tried to play and the same thing happens, so its not just the sims unleashed game. Any suggestions or help? Thanks.

Well it sounds like it is freezing when it attempts to change resolution...if you know the resolution and color depth the game runs at I suggest you set windows to that first...also see if there isn't a way to lower the graphic settings of the game without starting it.
