Exclamation DVD Drive not loading games
I recently bought the Sims expansion packs, two of them came as CD-ROMs and one is only sold as a DVD-ROM. I have a DVD-drive on my PC, but when I put the disc in, it makes a funny sound and automatically restarts my computer. When it restarts, my computer tells me it "recovered from a serious error"

What does this mean? And how do I make the disc work?

I am operating on Windows XP Home Edition. Please help
