Exclamation computer keeps resetting itself every 10-15 mins

hey, for about 5 days now, my computer has been resetting itself every 10-15 minutes, and if it dosn't reset, then it freezes and i have to reset it, i suspect that this is a virus but i have run all the defragmentations, virus software etc.. that i have and this problem is stil persisting, please can someone help

Open up the side of your computer while it is on and make sure the fan on your processor's heat sink still spins. Clean out any dust that is in there.

Sounds like it may possibly be overheating.

Alternatively, you could find a program called "core temp" and tell us what processor you have and what the core temp readings are. If it's not over heating, I would look into a possible virus situation, or if you're using windows XP it may be getting a blue-screen and just shutting down before it gives you the chance to see it.

But, the freezing tends to make me lean towards a heat issue, so look into that and get back to us.
