Realplayer
At my job location, Realplayer was already on the computer when I got here. I play internet radio from shoutcast.com which reccomends winamp - I prefer winamp, anyways. Realplayer continuously times out and sometimes fails to even play at all. I'm trying to disable Realplayer because it is more aggressive than winamp and automatically comes up when I try to play something. Any instructions on how to disable it say to right click it on your taskbar..I don't have an icon on my taskbar so if anyone can lead me through another route it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
If you I'm posting this in the wrong place or if anyone knows another site I could try where someone could answer me please let me know. |

Well go into the settings of the realplayer program (to get there go in the start menu...sorry for vague directions but I don't have realplayer installed at the moment) you should be able to uncheck boxes or something of the sort to disable realplayer from being the default player for certain media (you would want to keep anything like "real media file" or similar things that winamp won't play checked) now go into winamp's settings and set it as derfault for the things you unchecked in real
