Suddenly can't see Flash

All of the sudden, I can't see certain imbedded movies at certain websites. I assume these websites are using flash or shockwave. The movies just don't appear. It's a blank, white screen. It can't be an issue with the website because this is happening in more than one site.

I tried re-downloading Flash Player and Shockwave Player. No dice. YouTube works fine. I don't understand what could have happened. Is this a common problem with a common solution?

I'm using Windows XP.

Couple of suggestions, check your browser settings, even try using a different browser.
