ADSL replacement advice

Hello,
I currently have a D-link DSL 302G, which by any stretch of the imagination is the most budget piece of telephoney hardware money can buy, it came bundled with my ADSL plan, but I have since decided it is the cause of my many and frequent internet issues/disconnects. Therefore I have decided to get something else.

So can anyone suggest an ADSL2 modem/router that would be a good choice to replace it?

I'm thinking something like a NetGear RP614, but I honestly don't know what to look for, though a firewall/NAT ability would be good.

Any suggestions appreciated.
