Sudden IE 7 problem
Had my machine shutdown for one day, turned back on and now each time I open IE 7, I get the message "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and must shut down.
What can I do to fix this? I restored to a previous day, but still the same problem. Thanks |

tell more about your system. os, cpu, ram, harddrive size/free space available.

Ie-7
Well Dan, Thanks. I had considered removing IE-7, but was hesitant, since I am not a "power user"-- But I do have firefox, so decided to go ahead.
Now here is the strange thing: I did the "Remove" Then lo and behold, the IE "E" icon was still in my quick launch bar! I clicked on it and IE 6.0 opened normally, and works fine!! I thought when I originally installed IE-7, it would have removed IE-6, but it must not have! Should I reinstall 7.0???? Thanks |
