Browser wont let me get onto my favourite site!!!!

Hi all, i have a web site for classic cars that i go on a lot, but just recently i have been getting this message when trying to go on it
Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

Apache/1.3.36 Server at localhost.localdomain Port 80



Has anybody got any ideas how to fix this as other people i know have got onto the site no problem so it is still there and iv been through my internet settings to no avail.

It seems to be a problem with the site and not you.
Try contacting the site admin

Try accessing via a proxy

Have you tested with a different browser?
Do you have Internet Security/Firewall/Adware software that changes your browser headers?

Done it. I went through and deleted all the internet history and also the cookies and this solved it, no idea why that fixed but it did, cheers for the help Degsy, much appreciated
