Change boot order on an Asus X52S laptop

Hello one and all,

I am trying to install a new OS on to an old Asus X52S laptop.
My problem is with the BIOS in which I need to change the boot order.
I can access the BIOS no problem. I am stuck at the page with the list of possible options. The hard disk is first on the list followed by the CD, second on the list. The idea (if I understand correctly) is to highlight the option required ( the CD in this case) press the 'up' arrow key and the CD option will move up to the first place.
I can highlight the CD option, however the group of four arrow do not move the position. I up loaded an image of the keyboard on this laptop... hope it came out! On the far right of the keyboard are two arrows, one up, one down. These arrows are different in that they have horizontal lines across the 'shaft' of the arrow. I think these are the keys one needs...but I cannot get them to work.
Any help would be most appreciated ...

Wow seems to work...see the arrow keys extreme right hand? Arrows seem to have horizontal lines across the 'shaft' of the arrow....
I think these are the keys that maybe have multiple uses....not sure???
