After using Ninite for quite some time, I then found and have been using for several months, this little gem....

Patch My PC

The great thing about this one, is that once updates are found within your PC's software, you have the option of automatically downloading/installing the software/s, or simply (Smurfy may like this setting) downloading the exe files to wherever you want, and installing them from there. Here is a list of software that Patch My PC supports....

... I'm in awe that anyone would let any app install things blindly on any system.

Patch My PC gives you the option to install directly, or simply download the .exe files. I have used this little program for quite some time, had no problems at all with it.
