WOOD PC Case

Ever thought about building a Wood PC Case. Well I did.

http://murfsgarage.cybertechhelp.com/PC%20Case.html

Actually this was the 2nd case I built, the 1st one did not hold stain and ended up painting it. This one I used OAK and the stain shows well.

System Temp: is about 28c
Video Card(s): Temp 30c
Processor: 38c-46c
HDDs Temp: 27c

Even with the sound deadening material I used it is a little loud, but acceptable considering the number of fans in there.

Its running:

i5-2400 Sandy Bridge processor 3.1ghz (quad core)
8Gb G-Skill (PC3-12800) memory
2- 1GB GeForce 9500GT video cards
Windows 7 64bit

That is a very sharp looking case Murf. It's nice to see Murf's Garage is back in business also.
Do you have any idea how many hours were spent in building the case?

Thanks, probably at least 30-40hrs working a little bit each day, but if I would have just done that probably build it in 2 days. It took me 30 days but there were times I was away from it for a week or so... Unfortunately my workshop is the garage, no A/C and with the 90-100 degree weather here lately did not work on it.

Also been spending a lot of time rebuilding Murfs Garage, as a lot of the old Windows 95/98 stuff I had is no longer available. Working XP now and some more hardware. Just added a BIOS Beep code page.

I've gone back to ogle that case about four times already. It's really a work of art.
I did some clicking around at Murf's garage too. Your military pages are a nice touch.
