Websites Look...Odd
A family friend has been having problems with his computer for a while. He is running an E-machine T1742 with 1.70 GHz, 40GB HDD, Cable internet, and 640MB ram. He had some Trojans and Viruses a while back and now the computer acts screwy and he does not want to do a system restore. I may end up trying a repair install.
The current issue is internet browsing. The webpages show graphics like the smilies and their movements, but things like the tables and their graphics (colors and such) are not showing. This page is currently mostly white with smilies showing and some buttons, texts, and adds. It looks like the low bandwitch version of some sites, but very WHITE. I can't really explain it... If anyone has any ideas please let me know, TY! |

what browser? is it the same with alternate browsers? Why not do a restore point fix? Its less destructive than a repair install.

We're not sure when exactly the problems started. We switched to IE 7 but didn't like it, so switched back to 6. I think it has something to do with his settings.
