need to know how to do a system restore
I have a Dell windows vista windows live did an update and locked me out of the computer under my password. I am still able to access under my kids but want to know how to do a system restore

From within Windows, you can just type restore into the Start menu search box, and you'll immediately see System Restore at the top of the start menu: |

clarification - are you wanting to do a system retore to a restore point prior to the problem or do you just want to restore the system with a fresh os install?
