Another singer, 'Lady Gaga', has joined the throng, see https://thenewdaily.com.au/entertain...e-floyd-death/

Quote:
Lady Gaga has slammed President Donald Trump as a “racist” and a “fool” as she expressed her outrage over the death of George Floyd.
Protests have flared across the United States after the handcuffed black man died in Minneapolis this week after a white police officer knelt on his neck for several minutes.
Video of the arrest, which has gone viral, shows Floyd begging for air and saying, “please, I can’t breathe” and “don’t kill me”.
Sharing a lengthy statement on Instagram, the singer wrote: “I’m afraid to say anything that will incite further anger, although that is precisely the emotion that’s justified.“I do not wish to contribute to more violence, I wish to contribute to a solution. I am as outraged by the death of George Floyd as I have been by the deaths of exponentially too many black lives over hundreds of years that have been taken from us in this country as a result of systemic racism and the corrupt systems that support it.
“The voices of the black community have been silenced for too long and that silence has proven deadly time and time again. And no matter what they do to protest, they are still met with no compassion by the leaders that are meant to protect them.
“Every day people in America are racist, that’s a fact. Right now is a critical time for the black community to be supported by all other communities so we can put a stop to something that is intrinsically wrong by the grace of God or whatever creator you do or do not believe in.
“We have known for a long time that President Trump has failed. He holds the most powerful office in the world, yet offers nothing but ignorance and prejudice while black lives continue to be taken.
“We have known he is a fool, and a racist, since he took office. He is fuelling a system that is already rooted in racism, and racist activity, and we can all see what is happening.
“It’s time for a change. I urge people to speak gently to each other, speak with passion, inspiration, and impress the importance of this issue until the systems that keep us sick die, instead of people we love.”

Pointing out the moronic and idiotic behavior of another does not infer or imply that I am moron or an idiot.
That accusatory position is exceptionally passive-aggressive.
You may as well of posted "I know you are but what is he?"

Again, I posted all politics aside. I am not referring to any of his administrations policies. I may or may not support some of them.. On a HUMAN level.. the guys an unthinking, narcissistic, moron.

Every new incident compounds the problem.
Now the "anti fascists" are being blamed for the lawlessness and violence. Does one need to be pro fascist to be a peaceful obedient citizen? I think not..

I hear on a news report that the world leader retired to an underground bunker, the thought occurred to me is that if George Floyd had access to such a bunker, none of the present unrest and mayhem would be occurring.

Another way of looking at this is had George Floyd not been tying to buy
cigarettes with a counterfeit $20 bill. None of the present unrest and mayhem would be occurring.

What Donald Trump has said is wrong in so many ways. Violent riots and looting is wrong in so many ways.

That is a hell of a sentence for attempting to steal a couple of packs of cigarettes Dave
To me the man appeared to be handcuffed and in a police vehicle (custody) before being dragged out and downed. Maybe he was mouthing off a bit but hell!! So wrong.

A lengthy report on Trumps failing ended simply with this.
" Trump has often said that he would stop the world from laughing at the US. Mission accomplished. Instead of laughing, the world is weeping at what they have become." Max Boot reported.

Yes, in the eyes of the world the only way the US will become Great Again is to move on from the Trump disaster.

I wonder how John Bolton's book will be received by his fellow republicans?

Did da dude Donald duly decidedly definitively deliver the good thing by suggesting that reducing the number of tests would reduce the number of discovered cases? Mr Fauci has not been told to reduce testing yet..
Aah well the Mexican government needs the extra testers.
