"User profile cannot be loaded"

I'm getting this message-
"The user profile service failed the logon."
"User Profile cannot be loaded"

It's happened twice now, with 2 different user accounts. I'm using an emachines t5082 and running Vista. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
