linking

Ok, I should know by now, you guys have taught me everything I know, which is no small feat, believe me, but I don't know how to link. I went to my other favourite site, Apug, and tried to link this site. I went to the address on the top task bar and highlighted it, copied, and tried to paste it but it came out as script and not as a link, what am I doing wrong?
Also, when I go to file and click on add this page/link it asks for a profile and then comes up with outlook, which I don't use, I tried my name and the sex of my dog but it still does'nt work: what is the profile in XP?

Are you trying to link to a webpage from your webpage? What page of Apug are you trying to link to? What is the main address of Apug?

I was just on the site of Apug and wanted to send them a link to this site. It's knowing the simple way of when I am a site and want to give this address to another person so they just click on it and are directed here.

To send them a link tell them to go to www.cybertechhelp.com , they'll know what to do. If you are trying to link to a specific post, tell us which one so we can help you do that.
