Cleaning up the PC
I would like to clean up my computer but I don't really know where to start or how to go by doing this. I want all unused things gone and viruses need it running fast.

Download he program CCleaner and the ad aware personal both of these will give you a good start. AVG also makes a pretty good antivirus.
If you want to purchase programs my personal choice is Norton for anti virus and firewall, Spy Sweeper for spy and malware and Ad Aware as a backup. |

http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm I use CCleaner regulary, but a word of warning , it comes bundled with Yahoo toolbar, choose custom installation to avoid it. If your computer is running slow, you may want to run Hijackthis and post the results on here, you could have some nasties hiding in the system ! cheers, mata |
