email worm?
Hi-Need some input about a possible email worm.
I rec'd an email from a friend who said they keep receiving emails about undeliverable mail w/attachments. The emails are from his address to mine w/the subject "Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender". The attachment is labeled Undelive.zip (5.6 KB). The detail in the email states: From: Mail Delivery System [mailto:MAILER-DAEMON@kungfu.dreamhost.com] I have not been receiving anything--only he is receiving them. Any ideas? I appreciate your help. ~PK

Howdy again pkme,
Sounds like your friend should have there system checked for infection, or contact their ISP about the emails to make certain. If your friend has a worm emailer infection it may be using their address book to propogate itself (with the infected mail being rejected along the way).
