problem with floppy disk drive (a: drive)
hi this is strange i can access files that are on floppy disks but my a: drive dont let me save on the disk it keeps sayin "disk is write protected" when it is not
 i have recently put in a network card i thought that might have somethin to do with the problem so i took the nic out but the same problem with the a: drive  someone please help me out if you have any ideas what could be the problem, thanx in advance

Have you tried to just replace the drive. I mean they do not cost alot. I would try a different brand of disk first though.

yes i put a A: drive from another PC in my PC but i still got the same message
thats why i wrote its a strange problem  i also noticed i get this message on the boot up screen "PXE-M04 hooking bootstrap interrupt 8h.." has anyone ever experienced this before??
