installation of XP

I'm trying to install XP on my laptop, I don't have a cd/DVD-rom drive so I'm trying to boot with my Onboard NIC, but I get a error:

PXE-E53: No boot filename received

and

PXE-M0F: Exiting Broadcom PXE rom.

Can anyone give me push in the right direction.

If you don't have a DVD/CD Rom drive you must have a recovery partition on your computer. On bootup look for a key flash up that says recovery.. I guess I don't know how you're going to load windows by booting with your NIC card??

Where did you get the information that you could load windows with your onboard NIC card. Are you talking about your internet interface card or some other card?

Booting from NIC will require that your machine is on a network with a Server giving out BootP packets - which I highly doubt is your scenario. There are pretty much two options for you. 1 Use a USB (external) CD/DVD drive and boot from that. Or move the HDD out of the laptop and "prepare" it on another machine. The first option is most likely your best bet, and im sure youll need an optical drive at some point?
