invalid Win32 application
After downloading adaware, it said it's not a valid Win32 application.
I tried downloading it twice and got the same message. What does that mean? My laptop came with vista os. I'm totally clueless with vista, so if I need to do something take it easy on me!! I have AVG and Spybot installed too. Thanks for your time, alanis |

Hi alanis. A lot of Ad-Aware users have been experiencing this problem. See here for a possible solution.
If you still have problems with Ad-Aware, if it were me, I would install a more reliable program. Click on the link in my signature for antispyware suggestions. Just a warning, Spybot has caused past problems with Vista. I dont use this program at all so I dont know whether the issues have been fixed. |

Thanks AnnMarie, I did the possible solution you posted and I'll let you know if it fixed the problem.
Can I ask what av protection you have? Also, does Vista have a firewall? I used AVG, spybot, and adaware on my desktop for years with no problems, but now I've got Vista on my laptop. Thanks again and have a great day/night!! |
