What OS to use??

Hi, i was just wondering what OS would be best for my laptop(pc) currently running windows vista home. Here are my laptops specs

Hp Pvaillion DV6000
Intel duo core 2.00 GHz
1g Ram
32 bit operating system

imo, add another gig of ram and stick with vista. If you change back to xp, you will have to purchase the full retail version. You will not be able to use oem, upgrades or any os that came wiht other computers.

If you decide to go to xp, go to hps website and see if there are xp drivers available for your specific model.

In my opinion going from Vista to XP is a retrograde step. Vista much more stable and secure in spite of all the criticisms in the tech media.

Heard all that before when XP was introduced as to how great 98 was.

I would seriously recommend that you stick with xp vista is just a really big hassle. I personally have had vista and xp but i still really love vista because of the ease of use and how it doesnt have so many hardware and software issues.
