nvida and vista compatibility issues (Moved from Vista Forum)

When I use Nvida's newest driver 168.25 I can run Company of Heroes with very high frame rates. However this and any Nvida driver from the issue of 158.25 corrupts my windows desktop and MS flight sim x. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it??

My video card is an XFX 7600 GT AGP. My processor is an Intel duo core 2, 2.0 ghz. Running Vista home premium 32 bit.
