Angry window size?

I use Netscape 7, and until today, when I hit "mail", a nice window would pop up with all my email information (get message, compose etc.)

Now, this same information comes up, but it takes up the ENTIRE screen!!!!! I've looked through all the pull down menus and help section, but can't find a way to minimize this screen. Can anyone help me? I didn't do anything to cause this change, but really, really want it back the way it was. My system restore function is toast, so that is not an option for me. There must be some way to shrink the window!

Please help.

Open up a new mail as you describe, then click the middle icon of the three in the top right hand corner of the window (the one that isn't an _ symbox or an X). This will either resize it for you straight away or it will allow you to resize it by dragging the corner. Now close the window and it should remember the setting.

maximize/restore

Thank you for responding.

I had already tried the maximize/restore button, but it only changes the size by about 1/8 of a centimeter. Almost imperceptible. The smallest screen is still larger than my monitor, and the corner than should be dragged is beneath my toolbar on the bottom and cannot be accessed.

Any other ideas?

If you can see ANY window border, you can resize the window. Doesn't have to be the bottom corner.

This sounds very like a problem that is common in IE, surely AOL haven't butchered Netscape badly enough to replicate it!

Talking borders

Thanks Smurfy! I never knew you could pull on any corner to resize.
