Partition Mirror?
Last night I formatted my computer and created 3 partitions on it. I've never had more than 1 partition on this computer before and now i'm running into a problem.
First I created a 7gb primary partition for Windows (I know... way overkill), then I created an extended partition with 2 logical partitions both divided the same amount. I installed Windows XP on the C: and downloaded a few drivers exe's as well. This morning I looked at the D: and E: drive and noticed they both have the EXACT same files as the C: drive. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen? I'm trying to figure out if this is a Windows, BIOS, or harddrive issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Go to this site to learn how to partition and format a hard disk in Windows XP: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=313348 If you are still unable to figure this out try posting the question in the Hardware Forum. Good Luck! |

Howdy and welcome to CTH:
Please don't go posting identical questions over the forums.. If your question is not appropriate to the forum you posted it in, a Mod will move it for you okay !! If you wish to keep the question in the hardware forum, just ask and someone will close this one for you!! Murray |
