How do I get my Bootup Screen back to default?
Firstly, I downloaded a crappy Da Vinci theme a while ago and got it off, but the bootup screen is still the same ugly thing. I go to properties and switch the theme to Windows XP theme, but the Bootup/logon/logoff screens are staying the same. How do I fix this?!
Also in the bootup up process, it started giving two options: "Windows XP..." and "Restore windows XP..." They both seem to just do the same thing, but I want that screen gone. It didn't use to be there before. I appreciate your help. Thanks. |

You can try restoring to a previously saved restore point just prior to the installation of the theme

What program do you use to change the bootscreen? Was it Style XP or Bootskin or something else? You can use System file checker to maybe correct the ntoskrnl.exe (bootscreen) file which may have been altered.
