windows xp home edition

Can anyone help, cannot open microsoft exel or word.It says the document you opened the last time ad serios errors on it.If I click on yes to open it the box just freezes for some reason.Can somebody help....

Have you tried using the Office CD and running a repair??

If you have your CD put it in the drive, it should boot itself and when the screen comes up you should see some options, one will be 'repair' go ahead and click that. It might help.
