Exclamation access to file denied when in admin (DOS)
hi
i'm working on a pc (xp home) with this problem
Winlogon.exe. entry point not found.

i know how to fix it, i have renamed the corrupt files as old and now need to replace them from the servicepackfiles\i386
however, i am denied access to \i386. i am logged in as admin. i have tried to change the attributes of \i386 (incase it was a read only file) but access is denied.

any help?

Try booting in safe mode and logging in as administrator not your usual account.
