Unable to run CHKDSK
I am unable run this CHKDSK/f as it keeps showing itis beingf used by another system but it isn,t.I have tried "selecting start on reboot but that doesnt work either |

Have you tried going to safe mode and trying it? (I assume Win10 has safe mode )
And as long as we are talking about CHKDSK. .. Im on Win98se for those who dont know and I have CHKDSK but when I try to use it it tells me to use scandisk instead.. WHY??? -- Why is it even on Win98 if it wont let you use it?? |

Which anti virus/security program do you run on your computer?
Norton is one that can take over certain administrative tasks and could perhaps be the reason for what you are seeing. Suggest that you only use Microsoft's built in security and no other. |
