Question cloning hard drive

Can anyone suggest a good, reasonably priced software that will copy a hard drive? I would like to copy operating system as well as data to external USB hard drive. I would also like to be able to update data from time to time. The external drive that I have, Acomdata, is not compatable with Norton's Ghost, so I need another program.

Both Powerquest's (now owned by Symantec) Drive Copy, approx. $50. USD, and Drive Image, approx. $70. USD, will copy a hard drive. You can further research these products, if you like, to see if either will support copying to your external drive.
