I do have a program called PC Matic installed but I started having problems a few week before installation . Thanks and I sure hope someone can help me with this one !

Renagade 600 I did try to do restore but did not help . I did notice also that where I am using a Program called PC Matic, it appears that the only restore points is the ones that it creates . Thanks

personally I would get rid of pc matic and see if it helps imo, it is nothing but snake oil. I would never recommend any type of cleaning software. They tend to cause more problems than they fix.

I agree get rid of PC Matic it may of excabated the problem.

PC Matic is software which claims to be an optimizing tool with registry cleaning capability (click the Features tab) that purports to improve performance, make repairs, enhance the speed of a computer, remove viruses and prevent malware infections. PC Matic does not come with anti-virus protection which can find and remove malware as the TV advertisements indicate. The Overview tab says it provide protection against threats by utilizing a white list that only allows trusted applications to run. If you read the information under the Features tab on the vendor's website it only says the product protects against modern security threats...and it doesn't say how. What they fail to tell customers is that their product has high false positive rates.

They have a history of poor support and claims.:

http://www.amazon.com/PC-Pitstop-PCM...ews/B0046ZLW1G

http://spywarehammer.com/index.php?t...1414#msg151414

Then I would install and run Malwarebytes free version:

https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/

Scroll down to bottom of page. When installing look for the window that has a box checked Install Trial Version (something like that) UNCHECK otherwise you will be pestered to buy and the trial period will end. It's Free, no need for the Premium.

1. Open Windows Task Manager

Right click on the Taskbar then select Start Task Manager

2. See if there is a Processes called something like:

PCPitstopScheduleService.exe

If its there highlight and End Process

3. Start > All Programs > PC Pitsop > PC Matic > run "uninstall PC Matic"

4. In Add/remove Programs uninstall anything there (if you haven't done that yet)

5. Now go to C:\Program Files\PCPitstop\PC Matic

double click on the file unins000

Now do a search and if found delete it:

PCPITSTOPSCHEDULESERVICE.EXE-113B56AD.pf
