Unhappy Error please help

I got this error when i tried to update Brothers in Arms: Road To Hill 30
i successfully updated it to v1.02 but i tried to get it to v1.03 and this came up

it says Patch Error
Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match.

Later patches usually contain the previous updates,so try
uninstalling the previous patch and install the newer one.

Hi leroys1000
thanks for helping me

i uninstalled the whole game and installed it again
so when i went to install the patch v1.11 it said


Patch Error
Old File does not exist

what do i do??

Looks like you may need all the patches for that one.
The only problem I can see,is are you using the correct patch?
There are patches for the download version and patches
for the DVD version.

yea
i downloaded all of the patches to make sure but after the v1.02 none of them install

the same error comes up

oh yea when i try to play the game it says

Critical Error
Build: (null)

General protection fault!

oh one more thing when the patch is installing it stops when it is
processing

System\SetupBiA.ini

and it says
Old File does not exist

Here is something from ubisoft that matches your error.

In order to install the update, you must make sure that the language of the update you download matches the language you originally installed the program in. For example, if you installed the game in English, you need to make sure you are downloading the US/UK patch.

Otherwise, you will always get the following error: 'Old file does not exist'

the patch i installed that worked was called
brothers_in_arms_1.02_us_uk.exe

then the one im trying to install is
bia_retail_1.03_us_uk.exe

when im installing this one this comes up

Im pretty positive the version im installing is US/UK
