Web Pages Loading (Really) Slow

Hi,

There's a certain webpage that has been loading awfully slow for me, abnormally slow - takes like more than five minutes to load and sometimes it doesn't work (Other sites have been working fine for me). However, I asked a friend if she was having the same problem, it doesn't seem like she does. Is it a problem with my browser/computer or is it just a problem with the website's server?

To try the easiest thing first, assuming you're using Internet Explorer, in IE go to Tools>Internet Options>General tab and click the "Delete files" button to empty the cache.

There may be a copy of that site in the cache that's got a problem so when IE tries to load all or part of that page from the cache, it chokes.

You might also want to check for spyware.

Try running Hijack This program and post the log results in the safety forum and someone will take a look for you and see if there are any issues that might be causing this.
