Advice from hot-shots, please

Here's the deal - need another machine in the house for my wife's new business. Just needs to run apps: accounting, Works and Word, spreadsheet stuff...

Here's what I found - Celeron 500,W98SE, mini-tower, 10.2 HD, 64Mb PC133, 48X, 8M AGP, Polk Audio speakers, 1.44, crappy sound card, cheap keyboard and mouse, 3 USB ports, PCI and ISA, open bays and slots. 1 year warranty. $359.US.
Good deal or not?????

Zip,

I'm not too up on US prices but down here that would be a good deal. BigStu might be able to give some better insight on whether the price tag is fitting or not. He'll be along shortly

Celerons can be o/c if ya wanted to. You should easily be able to get a 500 quite a bit faster

Thanks, BigStu - I'm gonna order it today. I got a line on some 19" monitors for $210, think I'll pick up one of those too.

Appreciate the vote of confidence!

Listen, MiShY, give me your Christmas hardware gift-list. I'll give you the best prices I can find on exact items here.
You want anything, just ask. I can figure costs for shipping, too. Just don't tell the Government- I'm no reseller or dealer!!

Carol, no problem!! I'd LOVE to give you a great X-mas full of presents!!!

Being short on cash, however, means you'll have to send your check or money-order to: Zip c/o Mishys place.com
