My Money problem with deleting an old account.
I have tried to go through and do up my budget properly in the My Money program. I see that this has happened to others but I can't seem to figure it out. I tried to download a patch but that hasn't solved it and I don't want to fool around with that option too much for fear of losing some serious data. This "debt" shows up in the budget even though it isn't listed (that I can see) in the Bills and Deposits list. The account has been closed but it won't actually allow me to delete it, which if I could would probably keep it out of the budget. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again. Dan

Although I've never used MS Money and can't help with that problem, I do recommend you back up its data immediately "just in case."
Click Here to open a page with instructions for backing up MS Money. Once you have the backup file made, copy it to a safe location...burn to CD or DVD, copy to another drive, copy to a USB pen drive (also called jump drive and thunb drive) or to another computer. That way, if things go south, you won't lose the data. |
