How do I take screen shots with windows 98?

Get the screen the way you like it, and hit the 'Print Scrn' key (to the right of the F12 key, usually). This puts it on your clipboard. Then, open the graphic editor of your choice, do a paste, and save in the desired format... easy!

If you want to capture only the active window, hold down one of the Alt keys while you press the Print Screen key.
