IE 6 XP pro SP2 error on page with links

Using IE 6 with XP pro sp2 and when I click on links I get error on page in lower left corner of IE browser.

I have reset rest web stttings
Set temp folder to 10 mb
Cleared Cookies and off line content.
Registered REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL
Set program access custom settings to use internet exploror and I still get the same results
ANY SUGGESTIONS.

It is also effecting my web mail server and will not let me click a link to open new mail message.

try another browser to see if it a msie problem or something else. ARe you running any type of popup stopper utility? One thing you can try is to press and hold the ctrl key then click on the link.

I have repaired Ie and ran file protection.
Still doing the same thing.
Holding CRTL has no effect.

Would really like to solve the problem without installing another browser.
