My keyboard on my PC has suddenly stopped working. I've changed the batteries but its made no difference. I'm posting this through my phone. Can anyone help please.

remove the usb doggle and put it back in to see if it helps. make sure the on/off switch on the keyboard is in the correct position. delete the keyboard driver and reboot. if possible try the keyboard on another computer to see if it is a keyboard problems

Thanks renegade. Shortly after I posted, for no apparent reason, the keyboard suddenly started working again. Sorry, I should have posted this more promptly.

Open Device manager on your Windows laptop, find the Keyboards option, expand the list, and right-click Standard PS/2 Keyboard, followed by Update driver. After the update is finished, test to see if your keyboard works. If it's not, the next step is to delete and reinstall the driver.

Firstly, check for the keyboard drivers. This issue generally occurs when drivers are uninstalled or your system doesn't find the driver.
Also, connect the USB keyboard if the USB keyboard is working properly then there might be some hardware issue.

Hay MAX44, you were banned as Lewis-H by our admin, so now your MAX44. Why are you picking up members post a couple months old then cut and pasting information that may or may not be relative to the members problem?

Are you bored, your about to see the word BANNED again. Your welcome here but please post relative info to those problems the members have not solved yet....
