It's been eight days now and I wanted to post back to let you know how things are going now. Thank you for your help also...
It's been eight days now and no more problems have come up. I have not lost the sound in 8 days and no icons are frozen now and all seems to be working good now. So I'm thinking that the Malware we removed solved the problem. I appreciate your working with me to get the computer back working like it should. I am running the Malware program about twice a month now to be sure it is clean. Before I ran the Malwarebytes to remove the malware, I was losing my sound every day and sometimes twice a day. I have not lost it at all now in 8 days
