Angry Deleting Folders/Files need permission

Ok this is driving me ****ING BAT **** I have dozens of folders and files on my desktop but Vista wont let me delete them. Im sure you have all run into this, because Vista is one of the worst ****ing OS's ever made.

Is there no program that can force delete these? I swear to god I am going to find Bill Gates and ****ing murder him.

Thanks

The files may be locked by a 3rd party application. Have you tried Unlocker? If not, go here and download and install Unlocker.

Rightclick on those folders and select Unlocker. If the folder or file is locked, a window listing of lockers will appear. Click Unlock All and you should be able to delete the folder/file now.

Unlocker said that none of the folders were locked so I tried deleting them with Unlocker, but it literally did nothing. These folders take up almost half of one of my drives I really need them gone

When I had my old windows xp machine, I tried to install Vista on a different drive. Now that drive is in my new machine so I need to delete these folders: Program Files, Program Files (x86) and a few others that have .vob, .bup and .iso's in them.

You could try the method I suggested here booting with the Vista Installation DVD (instructions for deleting a folder in the last paragraph).

Hi Ive just been reading your post and can see you are very p****d with vista right now OK a customer of mine had the same problem and did the same as what you are doing can i ask have you tried to just delete what is just in the folder or have you tried to move the folder from the location they are in. In some cases just moving the files or folder can be enough to move them also have you checked them for maybe a virus as you are saying these are large files and this could be the problem i hope maybe this info helps you out

I have tried what you said but no luck. As I said in the previous post they are leftover files from Vista, they are not a virus they are the Program files folder from previously installing Vista on an old computer, and now that drive is in my new computer.
