Need urgent help
Hey my friend had a computer
giving to him im not sure of the specifications altho all i know it is 1.6ghz Intel Dual Core 2 250gig hd 1 gig ram and its a optima pc Well he booted up and when it logs in control panel pops up, and then strate after that a big intel video comes up (cannot be closed) shows you all these things about intel blah blah blah when he presses escape this little box comes up saying Code:
System control Enter password to stop the demo. [____________________] [ QUIT ] if you have forgotten your password,please consult the readme.txt file on the installation disk ---------------------------------------------- Demo information [ CANCEL] if he presses quit it goes back tot he video, if he presses cancel it does the same what should he do! i |

Sounds like he got a computer preloaded with demo software that is usually the display of that model in a store. I would try booting in safe mode and checking the startup programs. Look for anything that shouldn't be there (If it is a new computer only one or two thing should be there.. Also, check the user accounts and such.
