how to properly update nvidia drivers

i want to update nvidia drivers,
but when i check the program list, there are several nvidia programs installed:

nvidia drivers
nvidia nview
nividia physx
nividia update

i want to remove the previous drivers before installed the updated drivers.

1. Download the new drivers
2. Download driversweeper
3. uninstall those 4 Nvidia programs via the control panel.
4. Reboot into safe-mode, and run driver sweeper. (which should remove all traces of the older drivers)
5. Boot into normal mode and install latest drivers.
