Laptop without HDMI, TV with HDMI

Hello, I hope you are well.

My friend has a television with HDMI and VGA sockets, but her laptop only has an S-video socket. What's the cheapest and easiest way for her to play videos from her laptop and watch it on her television?

Thank you,
Victor
