Two Monitors set up

I have two monitors set up. Under Control Panel and “Display”, my primary monitor is shown as monitor # 2.

However, under Color Management and “Devices”, my primary monitor is shown as display 1 and the other monitor as display 2.

Can anyone tell me how this has happened and how I can fix it?

Thank you.

Right-click any empty area of your desktop, and then click Screen resolution.

Click the Multiple displays drop-down list, and then select Extend these displays, or Duplicate these displays. Note If you cannot see the additional monitor(s) listed, click Detect.

Try dragging the monitor picture and place them the way you want.
