Runtime Error
I am using Windows 7 (Home Premium) on a Dell Inspiron Laptop.
Over a period of several months, I will occasionally receive the following error message on startup. "Program: C:\\Windows\System32\spoolsv.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way." This does not seem to effect the laptop performance, so I've been ignoring the message. However, is there an underlying problem that should be corrected? And, if so, how? |

I also have a similar problem, does a runtime error mean your computer is virused?

spoolsv.exe
The spooler service is responsible for managing spooled print/fax jobs. Spooling allows you to print in the background without your computer being tied up. The spoolsv.exe file is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32. In other cases, spoolsv.exe is a virus, spyware, trojan or worm. 1st try this automatic fix from Microsoft HERE, if not let us know. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * taniademo is your error just a runtime error or also a spooler error, if just a runtime error, please start your own thread as the solution will/may be different. |
