Internet Connection provokes immediate blue screen error (BOD) and instantaneous boot
Hi todos,
Ive started having this very annoying bug: when I connect to the internet via wifi or cable, i get a blue screen and my PC restarts one second after this. Im not sure what to do, ive made plenty of scans with no luck whatsoever...Please let me know if u can help me and whether I shld post a hijack this log.... CHeers guys, Jer |

Is this just when you initiate the browser? If so, have you tried a different browser?

Here's how to have XP display the error message instead of rebooting-
http://support.packardbell.com/it/it...ppn=PB17B00706 Post the error message. To reboot the computer after seeing the error do the pressing of the Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys. |

Have you tried a system restore back before the issue started?
Getting another browser will be tough if you can't launch your only one |

Plb solved
Hi guys,
no the problem occured as soon as internet was connected, before having to launch my browser. I went in msconfig, and changed my settings to "normal startup"; that did the trick for now...however im sure the trojan or whatever it is is still present, hiding and waiting for the right payback time!
