No Power......Think I burned out power supply!?
I have a DELL Latitude D500 laptop and I was working with it sitting on a pillow and it seemed to get pretty hot than it shut-off and now 2 days later it still won't turn on. By the way when I plug my power adapter in the wall I get the green light on it, but as soon as I plug the adapter into the laptop the green light goes off.
Anyway, I think i fried my power supply which is part of the motherboard right?? So do I have to replace the whole motherboard or can this be fixed any other way? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Rob |
