Flash Drive error

I am trying to copy large files from my PC to a 256 GB flash drive. Partway through the process I get an error message (0x80oo70570) and I am unable to proceed further. Also I am not able to delete the corrupted file.
I tried reformatting the flash drive and restart but the same thing happens.
I have also tried to copy the files individually and in this case some files get copied properly but by the time I complete copying all the files, some of the already copied files show empty.
I am really frustrated with this and would like some help if possible. Thanks.

Thank for the quick response and tip.
I did try it earlier on my own. With some files on the flash drive it takes hours for the progression bar to move even a fraction of n inch. Of course if the flash drive is quick formatted and checked for errors, it shows no errors.
When I tried to format it the normal way, this also takes hours before the bar makes any significant progress.

Hmmm...........

Where did you get the 256Gb Flash Thumb Drive?

There has been some HACKED Thumb Drives being sold as 256Gb or 1Tb.
When you plug them in to a USB Port, Windows will report that it is 256Gb or 1Tb.
But when you check their actual storage capacity,
they check out as only 8Gb or 16Gb of storage space.

Here's a site that has links for free Flash Drive Tools.

Another thing.........
If it is always stopping at one particular file, on the drive your trying to copy.
Then that file has been so badly corrupted, that it is no longer viewable by the Operating System.

You will need to get a recovery program that can restore the file.

Well, good luck with it.
